About

Built by someone who’s worked the trades.

NoHire AI builds AI systems for trade service companies: the phone, the booking, the follow-up, and the back-office work that pulls owners off the job.

The founder

Michael Miller

I’m a father of three with degrees in computer science, and I spent my twenties and thirties working the trades: roofing, HVAC, flooring, drywall, electrical. I know what a ringing phone sounds like from the top of a ladder, and I know what it costs when nobody picks up.

One Saturday in Cincinnati, in the middle of a heat wave, I was up a ladder with my phone in the truck. A homeowner called because her system had died. That was a $4,200 replacement job. I didn’t hear it ring. She called the next company on the list, they answered, and they booked it. I found out when she called back to cancel her maintenance visit.

I wasn’t slacking. I was working. That’s the point: the phone doesn’t care what you’re doing when it rings. NoHire AI exists to put the software skills I trained for to work on the problems I lived on job sites.

Who we build for

Trade service companies of every kind. HVAC and plumbing shops are where we started, and the same systems fit any shop that lives on the phone and the schedule.

What we’ve built so far

Our first system was NH-01, an AI receptionist that answers every call a shop can’t get to, captures the details, and books the job to the calendar. It answers our own line. Call (513) 935-6506 to hear it. Five more are live now: speed to lead, customer support, content and marketing, operations, and recruiting. See all six systems.

show the work

Proof before promises

Our own phone line runs on NH-01. Call it and try to break it. The builds and the stress-tests go up on YouTube, unedited, and the full playbook is free to read.

built for the field

Made for people on a ladder

Every system is designed around how a trade shop actually runs: the owner is on a job, the office is one person, and the phone rings at the worst possible time.

scoped, not subscribed

Priced like a project

A scoped, one-time build, stress-tested before it touches a customer. An optional care plan after. No seat licenses and no long contracts.
